A Very “Happy Ending”

My computer, the one I use to write this blog, and my internet have been fighting for the past week. They are both acting like two little spoiled rotten kindergarteners who say they don’t want to play or be friends with each other anymore. I have thrown in the towel, put them in time-out and sent them both to the principals office. AT&T is dealing with one and my computer guru Kevin is handling the other. I hope they can work it out or we may have to seek help from Dr. Phil.
I’m hoping to have peaceful harmony between the two in the next couple of days, but until then I’m blogging from my phone, so bare with me on the typos.
Sadly I’ve had a plethora of blog ideas this past week that I didn’t get to write about. It’s Murphy’s Law. Once you can’t blog the ideas start flowing. Once you can the creativity dries up like the Sahara Desert. It’s par for the course.
However, I did save one item from my sons book report. The kid asked me to proof read it five times and I never did. I left the proof reading to Cheryl who does not have the same eye that I do when it comes to perverted things. After he brings home the report I open it up to thumb through it and BOOM, there it is! Right on page 1.
He chose a very unfortunate name for his publishing company. In his defense, he really didn’t know what it meant. But I’m grateful. It was worth the look on his face when he realized what his teacher must have thought once I explained what a happy ending was! You can’t buy that kind of embarrassment!
