BlogHer – NaBloPoMo

in Blogging

NaBloPoMo_January_PressureI’ve decided to write for NaBloPoMo for the month of January.

This is funny because I don’t even know what NaBloPoMo stands for.

(I think I should have probably Googled that before I signed up…)

Anyway, NaBloPoMo is a monthly writing challenge. This month the theme is pressure, which is ironic in itself because committing to post of your blog everyday creates, um, pressure.

I figure that it can’t hurt. I don’t do any New Years Resolutions because I very much suck at keeping them, but maybe instead of looking at this like a Resolution to write more, I  can use it to be a Challenge to write more.

I’m going to be honest (this is a disclaimer) that I barely write once a week. My Partnership goal is three times a week and I hardly ever do that. I’ve maybe done it once in the year and a half that I’ve had this blog.

That’s not an impressive stat.

And (continuing on with the declaimer) I tend to write about crap when I am forced to write anything. I get writers block when I have to write on a certain subject so expect a lot of picture posts and copies of my grocery list.

Who am I kidding…I don’t even write grocery lists.

And remember you have to do your part even though you didn’t have a say in signing up for this. You have to drop by and READ everyday. Trust me you don’t even know how exciting I can make my grocery list be!

See you all tomorrow!

Note: I just found out that NaBloPoMo means National Blog Posting Month. You are welcome.

Then by default, I have to make the attempt to update my blog more frequently too! Good luck with the challenge!
