If gluten doesn’t kill me, going gluten free will.

I’m hitting Day #2 of being gluten free and so far I feel much worse than I did on gluten. My head hurts, my skin hurts, my eyes hurt and I have anxiety filled sleepless nights.

(But in glutens defense, the anxiety filled sleepless nights could just be because I’m freaked out that I might over sleep and forget to take Andrew to 5:30am swim practice.)

I’m either in the process of detoxing from gluten OR my body is screaming for donuts.

I’m not sure which.

I’m going to give it a few more days and see what happens.

It truly does get easier! After several years of NO gluten I now occasionally indulge, but its usually because I’m out and there is peer pressure (right!). It always makes me feel bad after I eat it and most of the time I don’t miss it. Sorry, no poptarts :-)

Yvonne- Good to know! I’m already feeling better. It’s a difficult change but well worth it! Send me recipes please!
