Living Life One Calendar Event at a Time.

coziI’ve been busy trying to juggle all of life’s expectations. The beginning of school is always rough. No matter how organized we are, how much we plan, there is still a learning curve. Add in a new PTA position, a new 5 day a week job, a new pool across town for swim practice and a recently minted Civil Air Patrol Flight Sargent and it’s a party!

Much to my dismay, I have become that mom.

The minivan mom that shuttles her child from one end of the earth to the other just so they can attain their goals, dreams and visions.

Or maybe just meet friends at Starbucks.

I’m not really sure which.

All I am certain of is that my life revolves around our Cozi Calendar. If it’s on there, I go. I don’t even ask questions anymore. I just go.

They say these years will go by quickly and to cherish them. I am not sure what they mean by that. Cherish the time I sit in my car listening to my SiriusXM radio? Or cherish the time I spend frantically yelling at him to get his shit together so we won’t be late for the next event in my Cozi Calendar?

Either way, it’s keeping this girl busy and tired. Too busy and tired to cherish anything other than that the cost of gas prices are down and that my air conditioning in my car works.

The dreaded colored dot on the calendar meaning there will be something to do that day that doesn’t include sitting at home. I need a dot that means I get to sit at home!!
